These wonderful blue industrial crates were spotted on one of our treasure hunting trips and we immediately thought they would make a great storage system for toys or clothes. We have photographed it storing lego, but it could be used for lots of different things; craft items, socks/tights, hats, gloves etc.

We have simply screwed the four crates together and then created a brilliant bespoke wooden top which we have stained. The metal and wood work really well together and help make a really interesting piece of furniture.

With it’s industrial feel and blue tones it would look great in a boys bedroom, though it wouldn’t look out of place in a playroom or even a hallway.

Please note that this is a vintage item which has been used and loved and therefore shows some signs of wear.
